The Bible
The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the final authority of truth and salvation. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)
The Godhead
There’s but one God. Manifested in the flesh as His Son, Jesus Christ, and as the redemption power of the Holy Ghost. (Deut. 6:4, 2 Corin. 13:14, 1 Tim. 1:17)
The Gospel of Jesus Christ
He was born of a virgin, died on a cross for our sins, and rose again the third day, becoming the supreme sacrifice of sin. He is true God and true man. (Acts 10:38-40, Col. 2:9)
Salvation
Proclaimed on the day of Pentecost; it is found through sincere repentance (death), water baptism by immersion (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues (resurrection). (Acts 2:1-39)
Water Baptism
We believe baptism is an act of obedience to the salvation plan. Being buried in water symbolizes the burial of the old nature and the resurrection to the new life. (Acts 2:38, Rom. 6:4)
Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is alive and working in the world today. It is the supernatural power and presence of God and is accompanied by the evidence of speaking in tongues. (Acts 1:5, Luke 1:35)
Sanctity of Marriage
Created by God as a sacred covenant relationship between one man and one woman for procreation and companionship. (Gen. 2:24)
Christian Living
Loving God and others, we are to worship God fully and live a life that is pleasing to him both inwardly and outwardly. Our thoughts, actions, and words ought to be guided by the Holy Spirit and set as an example to those around us. (Mark 12:28-31)
The Second Coming
We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again to call away his bride, the church. On that final day judgement shall be given, to the righteous eternal life, and to the unrighteous eternal death. (Rom. 14:10-12, Rev. 20:11-15)
